2000.9～2006.6  MSc & PhD in Lanzhou University, the title of my PhD dissertation is <Holocene climate variability of arid central Asia documented by Bosten Lake, Xinjiang, China> (in Chinese with an English abstract);

2004.7~ 2005.9 MSc Quaternary Science, Royal Holloway (RHUL) and University College London (UCL), University of London; MSc Dissertation <A multiproxy study of the sediment records of the last few centuries within Bosten Lake, Xinjiang, China> (funded by China Scholarship Council and Winston Chu UCL China Graduate Scholarship, UCL);

²       Research interests

My research interests are late Quaternary paleoecological and paleoclimatological evolutions in arid/semi-arid China and environment-human interactions during the late glacial and Holocene epoch by using palynological method combining other proxies analyzing of lacustrine and loess/eolian sediments.

ª        NSFC Young person project <Study on the Holocene climate change in arid area recorded by Bosten Lake drainage, Xinjiang, China>; (project manager)

ª        NSFC Key Project <Pollen assemblages and the influence intensity of human activities in crop and human disturbed vegetation>; (Project main participant, led by Prof Xu Qinghai of Hebei Normal University)

ª        Participated in NSFC innovation team project of Western China Environmental Change led by Prof Fahu Chen.

ª        主持国家自然科学青年基金《干旱区新疆博斯腾湖流域记录的全新世气候变化研究》（2008-2010，项目号：40701192）20万元 （主持人）；

ª        参加河北师范大学许清海研究员主持的国家自然科学基金重点项目《中国人工和人工扰动植被花粉组合及人类活动影响强度》（2008-2011，项目号：40730103）160万元 （项目组成员）；
